Phone numbers, pasted messages, and URLs entered into our tools are processed locally in your browser. The tools do not send that content to an OfficialAreaCode API, save it in local storage, or set an analytics cookie. If you switch the color theme, your browser saves only that light or dark preference in local storage.

The homepage can transfer a number to a newly opened checker tab using a temporary browser channel. It is not put in the page URL or saved. Area-code searches may place the three-digit code in a URL; those codes are public numbering information.

The static hosting provider may process ordinary web requests, including IP addresses and requested page paths, under its own operational policies. External links take you to third-party websites with their own policies. We use Google Analytics to measure aggregate website traffic and performance; no phone numbers, messages, or user tool inputs are transmitted to analytics services.

Remove sensitive information before using the text checker. You can close or clear the page to remove entered content from the open form.
