What does this number check tell you?

A plausible +1 number has a recognized area code and a ten-digit NANP structure. The area-code record can identify a numbering region or non-geographic service. A number alone cannot reveal the caller’s name, current location, active status, carrier, or whether it was spoofed.

How is a +1 phone number written?
